NIJEC follows a double-blind peer review process after an initial screening. The manuscript is sent anonymously to the reviewers and the details of the authors and affiliation are kept confidential.

The purpose of the double-blind review process ensures the quality of the manuscript and enable reviewers to evaluate the manuscript in an unbiased manner. Importance is given to the work that is original, valid, and has theoretical and managerial significance.

The editorial team reaches the final decision when both the reviewers (local and foreign) recommend the manuscript as sound, comprehensive, updated, and with no replication of previously published work.
