Author Guidelines

Submission Requirements:
All manuscripts must be formatted according to the official NIJEC Template. Please ensure your submission adheres to these bibliographic and formatting standards before upload.

Before submitting, authors must download, sign, and upload the following required documents along with their manuscript:

Authorship and Affiliations

  • Verification: It is the responsibility of the corresponding author to verify the accuracy of all author names and affiliations before submission.

  • Policy: Following the initial desk review, no changes—including the addition, removal, or reordering of authors will be permitted. NIJEC strictly enforces this policy to maintain editorial integrity.

Publication Fees:
Publication Fees: NIJEC applies Article Processing Charges (APC) for all manuscripts accepted for publication. Detailed information regarding the current fee structure and payment procedures is available on our Publication & Subscription Policy page.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • I affirm that the similarity index (plagiarism) and AI usage of this manuscript are under 20% (as per HEC policy)
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is only in Microsoft Word format (Docx).
  • Strictly followed the submission Template
  • The text is single-spaced, uses a 12-point font for Headings, 11 for subheadings, and 10 for text, and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points rather than at the end.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • I understand that my submission is subject to Article Processing Charges (APC) as outlined in the journal's publication policies.
  • References are listed in IEEE format and appear sequentially in the order they are cited in the text.
  • Funding / Conflict of Interest: I declare that all sources of funding, financial support, and potential conflicts of interest have been fully disclosed in the manuscript.
  • Authorship Contribution: I confirm that all listed authors have made significant contributions to the research, drafting, and final approval of the manuscript.
  • Copyright / Licensing: I agree to the journal's copyright and open-access licensing terms upon acceptance of this manuscript.

Copyright Notice

Upon submission of a manuscript to the NUML International Journal of Engineering and Computing (NIJEC), authors agree to the following terms:

  • Copyright Ownership: The authors retain the copyright to their work, granting the journal the right of first publication. The work is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which allows others to share and adapt the work for any purpose, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and a link to the license is included.

  • Archiving and Posting: Authors are encouraged to deposit their articles in institutional or subject-based repositories, provided that they acknowledge the original publication in NIJEC with a full citation.

  • Originality: By submitting, authors warrant that the manuscript is original, has not been published previously, and is not currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.
